Agreed. I felt like this was fraudulent just with the stock photos of the people. Today I finally confirmed my suspicion, if you analyze the first photo of the current Insta marketing, it’s clearly some sort of a rastro, market, or tourist shop with the metal gate/fence that is typically rolled up and down for open and close of the shop, and hundreds of bags that don’t resemble anything on ‘graces’ bags. Also the food signs on the left of the stock photo in the rastro market are so sus.
I HAVE RECIEVED THE WRONG BAG AND THIS COMPANY DOES NOT ANSWER MY E=MAIL I HAVE CONTACTED MY CREDIT CARD AND TOLD THEM THIS NOT LEATHER LOOKS MORE LIKE CHEAP PLASTIC I JUST WANT TO RETURN THIS LARGE HANDBAG THAT IS NOT WHAT I ORDERED FROM GRACES BAGS!
I tried to cancel my order yesterday right after because of negative reviews.
Never received a reply
but an email today stating the order is ready and will be on its way.
I read that if I return I’d have to pay shipping which is frustrating because I cancelled and they ignored it.
Dear Issbel. go to your money provider – bank or credit card – and explain what has happened and request your money is returned to you. Ignore the bit about paying to retutn the bag because you are not going to do this. Put the bag in your loft and get on with your life, ignoring any requests from this bag company to return the bag. You might ask them to send you the cost of returning the bag and then you would do it. However, this means they would have to disclose their true address, so they won’t do this and you will end up with your money back and the bag. Good luck!

I too agree it’s a farce. First my order of three bags came through international channels. I emailed them asking where their headquarters was located and never received an answer. Two if the three bags I finally receive ed look super cheap and fake. It’s a scam pure and simple. I’m watching my credit cards closely now

This is not the response that I had anticipated. With inaccurate advertising and responding as if you will accept your misrepresented items with a postage paid return, let me review our prior communication:
“I sincerely apologize for any confusion regarding the origin of our bags. We strive to provide accurate information, and I regret that the advertisement led to a misunderstanding about local craftsmanship.”
The advertisement misrepresented that a long term business and local Canadian artisan is closing their doors, implying locally made.
“I completely understand your preference for USA and Canada-made products, and I appreciate your patience in waiting for the product to arrive before requesting a return authorization.”
My credit card company is aware of your tactics and credited my card the day after the initial order, when it was apparent that 1) your product was shipping from China and not shipping from a local business and 2) when trying to call the customer service line, it rang once and disconnected. At that point, I thought it may be a scam. Lastly, my email request, sent the next day, to cancel was not responded until 6 days later. The email response indicated it was too late, the product already shipped.
You had an opportunity to correct this error with a full credit and paid postage return. As you offered an unacceptable alternative, I will give you one more chance to provide a full credit and a paid postage return. Otherwise, your product will be donated to our local women’s shelter, which will be an environmentally friendly option and benefit those in need.

This is a scam I’ve been dealing with them for quite awhile.They offered 20% refund and keep bag I refused so they eventually offered 40% with same option.after I threatened to return it to return address on package which was 5215 Boyle Avenue Vernon CA. I eventually caved in because I was stressed and so tired of dealing with (grace) There is no Grace. Please do not deal with this company. It is a scam
i ordered two of these bags on the advertisement that they were real leather. these bags are not real leather. i’m very disappointed in this purchase.
I gave into my temptation after a month of deliberating and I ordered 3 bags at 5: AM. A few hrs later I couldn’t find the order or the confirmation number~ no response from the Co so I didn’t wait as soon as I read this article I called my bank they reversed my payment and will investigate. I will never take a chance again and buy online!!
Grace’s Bags are a piece of junk. They should be removed from Facebook and placed on a list of fraudulent companies that produce false advertising. Their product isn’t even leather and so fragile and unattractive that no one would use it. Please do not order from them!!!! You will be extremely disappointed!
UGH! I wish i had researched this site before ordering (10 minutes ago). I phoned my Visa card company and they advised that they can’t cancel the transaction, but if the product is not as described, we can dispute the charge. I emailed Grace’s Bags to cancel the order – i guess we’ll see what happens. I also saw the ads on IG and believed the bags were discounted due to “Grace’s” retirement.
My experience is not satisfactory. The bag I recently received has a “Made in China” tag inside. The shipping updates I received showed the bag being shipped from China. The “leather” seems too thin to be genuine and doesn’t feel right to me, however I’m no expert. The inside features of the bag are not the same as in the online photos. And last, when I look closer at “Grace’s” picture in the adds, it appears she is AI-generated.
They are a TOTAL scam. Knowingly give you plastic goods and covering themselves with a scamming return policy. For example, consumer buys $100, received cheap manufactured items maybe worth $15-20 at best knowing the customer won’t like and offering to return “15%” so about 15 and they pocket $85 for the privilege of sending the customer JUNK
